To advocate and build public support for the MacKenzie Art Gallery and future growth.

THE ROLE

Gallery Ambassadors are community-minded individuals passionate about the MacKenzie Art Gallery and its core values. They inspire support for the Gallery by expanding awareness of its impact to a broad audience.

Our Facilities

MacKenzie Shop

The MacKenzie Shop is open during regular Gallery hours, is the perfect place to find one-of-a kind, locally made, hand-crafted and thoughtfully curated gifts. It is also available online at: mackenzie.art/shop. Purchases from The MacKenzie Shop support the exhibitions and programs at the Gallery.

Learning Centre

Come in and experience the transformative power of art firsthand! Stay tuned for programming in the Learning Centre. Join us every Sunday for Weekly We Make, where we create family-friendly projects and explore our current exhibitions through a variety of different mediums.

Shumiatcher Theatre

Our inviting theatre is filled with comfortable tiered seating – perfect for a variety of events including performances, lectures and film screenings. We are pleased to offer ongoing complimentary film screenings.

Outdoor Sculpture Garden

The artworks seen on our grounds are part of the MacKenzie’s Permanent Collection and are on display on the grounds around the Gallery for you to enjoy year round. Enhance your next walk through Wascana Centre by learning about the sculptures and the artists who created them.
