The MacKenzie Art Gallery and Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar have mutually agreed to conclude their four-year partnership.

Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar took over the operation of the Craft Services Cafe within the MacKenzie Art Gallery, as well as the Gallery’s facility rental program, in 2021. Over the past four years, Crave operated the cafe, provided catering for Gallery and third-party events, and managed bookings for the Gallery’s meeting and event spaces.

The contract between the two parties will conclude as of November 1. In the meantime, the MacKenzie Art Gallery has launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new operator on August 26, 2025.

We sincerely thank Crave for their dedication over the past four years operating Craft Services. We look forward to continuing to enjoy their downtown location, where they will be refocusing their attention to build on their position as a pillar of Regina’s downtown and restaurant scene,” said John G. Hampton, Executive Director and CEO of the MacKenzie Art Gallery. Craft Services was designed to adapt and evolve to new visions and operators, and we are excited to explore opportunities with a new vendor to support our evolving goals and help us continue to enhance both our café and facility rental services.”

All current facility and event rentals will proceed as planned. Gallery staff will work closely with existing clients during the transition to a new vendor, providing updated information and points of contact to ensure a smooth process. All facility rental or current booking inquiries can continue to be sent to events@mackenzie.art. MacKenzie Art Gallery expects to have a new vendor in place by December 1, 2025.
