Drawing on works from the MacKenzie’s permanent collection, The Regina Five Plus reflects on the creative conjunction which brought together modernist art and architecture in Regina.

The exhibition will provide context for the retrospective TELLING DETAILS: The Architecture of Clifford Wiens by presenting a selection of works created by the Regina Five and their contemporaries. As a special feature, the exhibition will include a number of important works which the Gallery has acquired over the years from the art collection of Clifford and Patricia Wiens — a testament to their central place within Regina’s artistic community.

Organized by the MacKenzie Art Gallery with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Saskatchewan Arts Board and the City of Regina Arts Commission.
