RIFFA RETURNS TO THE MACKENZIE
The MacKenzie Art Gallery is proud to once again partner with the Regina International Film Festival and Awards (RIFFA), Saskatchewan’s largest film festival and a leading voice for cinematic storytelling in the Prairie provinces.
From August 19 to 23, 2025, join us in the Shumiatcher Theatre at the MacKenzie Art Gallery for the Global Citizen series, five thought-provoking documentary films that explore urgent international themes, including environmental justice, human rights, global health, and geopolitical conflict.
Each screening will be followed by a guest speaker or panel discussion, inviting deeper reflection and dialogue on critical global issues.
MacKenzie members get in free to all Global Citizen screenings held at the Gallery: use the online code GLOBAL25 (all caps) at riffa.ca or simply show your membership card at the door. Admission is first-come, first-served.
The same code or card also grants complimentary access to the two industry panels in the theatre on Wednesday and Thursday: “Canada Council for the Arts” and “The Future of Video Games.”
