About
Join us for our Fall Opening Reception as we celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions, Christi Belcourt’s Uprising: The Power of Mother Earth – A Retrospective with Isaac Murdoch and Nep Sidhu and Rajni Perera’s Banners for New Empires. Special programming will run from 11 AM until 3 PM in partnership with the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan as part of Saskatchewan Multicultural Week.
With the gracious support of Rawlco Radio, our second floor galleries will be open at no charge for you to explore and enjoy all day.
Formalities will take place in the Shumiatcher Theatre at 11 AM and will be followed by an artist conversation featuring Christi Belcourt, Nep Sidhu and Rajni Perera, moderated by Rhonda Rosenburg, Director of the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with a variety of activities, including a felting workshop with Melanie Monique Rose, a finger weaving workshop and Metis storytelling activity, and a performance from the Natya Sudha Dance Group!
