COVID-19 Response from MacKenzie Art Gallery
MACKENZIE ART GALLERY TEMPORARILY closed IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, on 19 March 2020, the Government ordered the “closure of all recreational and entertainment facilities including fitness centers, casinos, bingo halls, arenas, curling rinks, swimming pools, galleries, museums and similar facilities.” While we had already closed our facility as a precaution against the spread of the virus, we are now required to do so for an indeterminate amount of time.
Events and programs currently scheduled by the gallery have been postponed until further notice.
There have been no confirmed COVID-19 cases associated with the MacKenzie Art Gallery, but we are committed to doing our part in reducing the risk of spreading the virus and will continue to monitor the directives from the government agencies.
We will continue our commitment to share art, through our online platforms and encourage our visitors to follow our website and social media platforms.
We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your understanding as we navigate the current events.
We will continue to monitor the situation daily and will provide any new developments as necessary through our website and other communication channels as required.
Thank you for your support during this time.
