Help build a geo-map of Saskatchewan in this 3-part Minecraft workshop! Participants will collaboratively build miniature digital dioramas in Minecraft blocks representing the diverse regions of a pre-human prairie landscape, such as the lodgepole pines in Cypress Hills to the Athabasca Sand Dunes.
Whether you are new to Minecraft or a well-travelled adventurer, you will be encouraged to follow your curiosity and discoveries as we research the unique attributes of each area to virtually craft the varied provincial terrain, making the natural beauty of wild Saskatchewan accessible.
Once complete we will invite the public to wander and wonder with us through our collective creation and to view future workshop creations found in the Great Saskatchewan Landscape Build.
